The company Russian World Vision has unveiled the trailer for the animated film “Wild Family.” This family-oriented animation is set to be released in Russian cinemas on **July 3**.
The video can be viewed on the VK group “RWV Film | Movies, Series, and Animation.” The rights to the video are held by Haut et Court.
The story follows the main character, Keriya, who lives with her father on the island of Borneo. When relatives of her late mother arrive seeking help, Keriya learns that their tribe is threatened by logging companies. Determined to protect her family and the environment, she embarks on a journey to save them.
The director of “Wild Family” is Claude Barras, known for the acclaimed animated film “My Life as a Zucchini,” which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature in 2017. The premiere of this new family film took place at the Cannes Film Festival in 2024, and critics have praised Barras’s work, with 100% of reviewers on Rotten Tomatoes recommending the film.
