Raul Departs Real Madrid, Frustrated by Missed Opportunity to Lead First Team

The former forward of Madrid’s Real Madrid, **Raúl González**, is set to leave the club. The 47-year-old coach has been in charge of the youth team since July 2019. According to Relevo, the ex-captain of the “Royal Club” is disappointed that he has not had the opportunity to work with the senior team of Real Madrid.

It is worth noting that the current head coach of Los Blancos, Carlo Ancelotti, will depart the club at the end of the season. One of the leading candidates to fill the vacant position is former Real Madrid player Xabi Alonso, who recently announced his resignation from the head coach position at Bayer Leverkusen.

Additionally, it was reported last fall that Raúl was being considered as a potential head coach for the Armenian national team. In February of this year, Dutch coach John van’t Schip took over the team.
