Second Suspect Charged in Chris Brown Nightclub Assault Case as Singer Faces Court Again

A second individual has been charged in relation to an alleged assault at a London nightclub involving R&B artist Chris Brown.

Omolulu Akinlolu, a US citizen, is set to appear before Manchester Magistrates’ Court later, facing charges of grievous bodily harm with intent, as stated by the Metropolitan Police.

Brown, aged 36, faced the same court on a parallel charge last Friday and was taken into custody.

He stands accused of inflicting serious injuries on music producer Abe Diaw using a bottle during an incident at the Tape club in Mayfair, London, in 2023.

Brown was apprehended at Salford’s Lowry Hotel on Thursday and is scheduled to appear next at London’s Southwark Crown Court on June 13.

The singer had planned to perform in Amsterdam on June 8, before traveling to Germany and then continuing with performances in the UK.
