Dynamo Minsk Secures Defender Pavel Voronov with Season-Long Contract as Team Eyes Playoff Push

Defenseman Pavel Voronov has signed a contract with Dinamo Minsk, according to the club’s press service. Previously, through a trade with Spartak, the Bison acquired the rights to the 25-year-old player.

The agreement with Voronov runs until the end of the 2025/2026 season. In the current season, he played for Minsk’s Yunost, accumulating 32 appearances and totaling 22 points (9 goals and 13 assists).

In the Extraliga, Pavel has also played for the U20 team and Gomel. By the end of the 2023/2024 season, he was recognized as the top-scoring defenseman and the best defenseman in the league, having participated in 65 games and recorded 43 points. Additionally, Voronov has played in the VHL for Khimik, Sokol, and Metallurg Novokuznetsk.

At present, Dinamo is positioned third in the Western Conference standings, holding 63 points from 47 games.
