Norwegian Journalists Understand Bigunov but Choose to Report Only What Suits Their Interests

**Alexander Bolshunov Sr.**, the father of three-time Olympic champion **Alexander Bolshunov**, shared his thoughts regarding his son’s coverage in Norwegian media.

“Norwegians are quite interested in Bolshunov. They want to know about his condition, what he’s up to, and what he’s thinking. They also realize that competition is much more exciting when all the top athletes are facing each other. That’s when the real buzz happens.”

**”You recently interacted with Norwegian journalists. Would you invite them to Russia so they could see everything for themselves?”**
“Where would they go? They already know and understand everything perfectly. Yet, they only choose to write about what benefits them. If something isn’t advantageous, why would they cover it?” Bolshunov Sr. remarked in an interview with “Championat” correspondent Andrey Shitikhina.
