The former goalkeeper of “Rostov,” **[Nikita Medvedev](https://example.com)**, reminisced about the match against “Manchester United” (1:1) in the playoff round of the Europa League during the 2016/2017 season. He also identified **Zlatan Ibrahimovic** and **Artyom Dzyuba** as the most formidable forwards he has faced.
**“Do you remember Ibrahimovic and Pogba?”**
**“They were all fit and muscled compared to us. Everyone remembers the condition of the pitch in Rostov, and they possess incredible skill; it doesn’t matter what they play on. However, we demonstrated that we can compete against such teams.”**
**“Is Zlatan the toughest striker you’ve played against?”**
**“I believe so. Dzyuba can be included in that list too. They share similar playing styles and physicality. In Russia, I would definitely mention Artyom. Just recently, we played against ‘Akron,’ and he hadn’t scored against me before, but this time he got one past me (laughs). Before the match, I told him, ‘Artyom, you have enough points for now. We need them today.’ He was upset after the game, but the result is what counts for the team. He’s a great player!”** Medvedev shared in a conversation with reporters Alexander Ershov and Maria Kutsubaeva from “Championship.”
