Neymar Extends Contract with Santos Until 2026

Brazilian club Santos has announced on its official website that it has extended the contract of winger Neymar. The new agreement is set to run until the end of 2026. Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.

To recall, the 33-year-old Neymar returned to Santos, where he began his football career, in January 2025. During the 2025 season, he played 28 matches across all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing four assists. His previous contract with Santos expired on December 31, 2025. Currently injured, Neymar aims to recover in time to participate in the 2026 World Cup, a goal he has expressed several times in the media.

Prior to his return to Santos, Neymar played for Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.
