Former Formula 1 driver and 2016 champion, **Nico Rosberg**, shared his thoughts on the future of seven-time titleholder **Lewis Hamilton** with Ferrari.

“I believe he should carry on. Leaving now wouldn’t be the right move. He’s just embarked on this project with Ferrari. To give up after just one season? That’s not how it works. He needs to persevere, give it another shot, and hope to feel more at ease in next year’s car.

Perhaps the car will perform better? This year’s vehicle hasn’t been the best. His biggest challenge this season has been qualifying pace. However, we saw flashes of brilliance from him during the races consistently. What he really lacked was that qualifying speed, but with a completely different car next year, there’s a chance he could recapture some of that old magic in qualifying.

There is certainly still hope,” Rosberg stated during a Sky Sports broadcast.
