45-Year-Old Arrested for Murder in Twickenham Stabbing Incident

A man has been formally accused of murder in connection with a deadly stabbing incident that occurred in Twickenham, located in south-west London, on Saturday evening.

Harpal Singh Roopra, aged 38, was discovered with stab injuries on Ellerman Avenue at 23:39 BST on April 26, and later succumbed to his wounds.

The Metropolitan Police stated that his family is receiving assistance from specially trained officers.

George Luka, 45, who resides on Ellerman Avenue in Twickenham, has been charged with murder and is scheduled to appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
