Police Seek Information on Suspects Linked to East London Stabbing Death of 20-Year-Old

The police have made public images of three men they wish to question regarding the deadly stabbing of a 20-year-old in East London.

Jason Romeo lost his life due to a stabbing that occurred outside a residence on Bodney Road, Lower Clapton, Hackney, on Tuesday at 5:59 PM, according to the Metropolitan Police.

Investigators are seeking information about Rhamyah Bailey-Edwards and Travis Mitchell, both aged 21, as well as 22-year-old Raynolph Asante.

These individuals are known to often reside in the areas of Hackney, Walthamstow, and Deptford, the police noted.

Detective Superintendent Kelly Allen, who is overseeing the case, stated: “We are asking the public to assist us in locating Asante, Bailey-Edwards, and Mitchell.

“I strongly encourage anyone who may have information about their locations to reach out to us immediately by calling 999.”

She further mentioned: “Police have intensified their efforts with increased weapon searches, reassurance patrols, and will be conducting door-to-door inquiries this weekend.”

On Tuesday evening, law enforcement apprehended a 25-year-old man and a 23-year-old man on allegations of murder and possession with the intent to supply a Class B drug.

Both individuals were taken to a police station but were later released without further action concerning the murder charge. They have been granted bail for the drug-related offense.
