Tragic Collision in Clapton: Driver Fatally Injured in Bus Crash

A woman has lost her life following a collision involving her vehicle and a parked bus in Clapton, located in east London.

Emergency services, including the Metropolitan Police and the London Ambulance Service, arrived at the site of the accident on Lea Bridge Road around 06:50 GMT on Saturday morning.

Despite being rushed to the hospital for care, the woman sadly succumbed shortly afterward.

Fortunately, there were no serious injuries reported among others involved in the incident, and her family has been notified.

The Metropolitan Police is conducting an investigation into the crash and is seeking information from any witnesses or individuals who might possess video recordings of the event.
