The Metropolitan Police have released an e-fit image of a suspect sought in connection with the rape of a 13-year-old girl in north-east London.
According to the police, the girl was abducted on Banister Road West in Homerton and taken to Banister House, where the assault occurred.
Following the incident, the assailant, whom the girl did not recognize, is thought to have fled the area in a white Audi.
The reported crime took place between 16:00 and 17:00 GMT on October 2, 2024.
The girl is currently receiving support from specialized officers, as stated by the police.
Detective Superintendent Ralph Coates, who is overseeing the case, remarked, “This is a grave allegation and it’s natural for it to raise concerns within the community.
“We have been conducting thorough investigations, including reviewing CCTV footage and interviewing the victim, who has endured a traumatic experience.
“We urgently call upon the public to assist us in identifying this individual as we continue our inquiries.”
