Hammersmith Tragedy: Investigation Launched as Woman Found Dead Amidst Suspected Break-In Attempt

A woman has been discovered deceased following an incident where a man attempted to break into a residence in Hammersmith.

The 36-year-old victim was found with a head injury inside the apartment on Coulter Road shortly before 22:15 GMT on Sunday, according to the Metropolitan Police.

Authorities are currently working to locate the woman’s relatives, who have not yet been informed of her passing.

A 38-year-old man has been taken into custody on suspicion of murder.

It is thought that there was a prior relationship between the man and the woman involved.

A representative from the Met expressed their “sorrow over the loss of this young woman,” stating that “despite the arrest, we still require clarity regarding the events that unfolded last night,” and urged anyone with information to reach out to them.
