RM1941 ALD941B seen at Westminster, Parliament Square working on route A towards Piccadilly Circus.
Londoner Buses had bought back Routemaster buses as a regular sight in Central London, which previously the type had been limited to Wedding and tea buses when Heritage route 15 had been withdrawn.
Tourist Bus Route A commenced on 2022.10.15 and operates between 9am-5pm 7 days a week between Piccadilly Circus to/from Waterloo via Trafalgar Square and Westminster. Sometimes in event of a disruption, route B may operate, which diverts to St. Paul’s via Aldwych. That also commenced the same day of route A just for a few hours.
The PVR for it is just 3 with a frequency of just 15-20 minutes in both directions and an all-day hop on /hop off ticket just costs £5.
Former Stagecoach RM1941 that once did the Heritage route 15 here is pictured on day 2 of operation.
