The Shard, additionally known as the Shard of Glass, Shard London Bridge and previously London Bridge Tower, is a 95-storey skyscraper in Southwark, London, that kinds a part of the London Bridge Quarter improvement. Der verzögerte Baubeginn erfolgte am 16. März 2009, die Einweihung warfare am 1. Februar 2013. Die endgültige Bauhöhe von 310 Metern wurde am 30. März 2012 durch Aufsetzen einer stählernen Spitze als letztes Bauelement erreicht.
