Millennium Bridge, London

The Millennium Bridge, formally often called the London Millennium Footbridge, is a metal suspension bridge for pedestrians crossing the River Thames in London, England, linking Bankside with the Metropolis of London. Londoners nicknamed the bridge the "Wobbly Bridge" after pedestrians skilled an alarming swaying movement. The bridge was closed in a while opening day and, after two days of restricted entry, for nearly two years whereas modifications had been made to get rid of the movement. It reopened in February 2002.
