Piccadilly Circus ist eine Straßenkreuzung und ein öffentlicher Platz im Londoner West Finish. Er wurde 1819 fertiggestellt, um die Regent Avenue mit der Piccadilly zu verbinden. Im architektonischen Sinn ist ein „Circus“ eine runde, öffentliche Fläche an einer Straßenkreuzung bzw. eine Artwork Kreisverkehr, jedoch ohne eine gebaute Mittelinsel. Während der Zeit der Kolonisation und des großen „British Empire“ wurde Piccadilly Circus oft als „Mittelpunkt der Welt“ bezeichnet.
